SOS-UK was part of a consortium delivering a UK Government Kickstart scheme. Between 2020 and 2022, we worked with Action for Conservation, Voyage Youth and Generation Success to deliver the Race for Nature's Recovery scheme, placing young people from predominantly underrepresented backgrounds into paid six month work placements. We partnered with over 30 environmental organisations across the UK to run placements for 125 young people. Here are the key impacts for the host organisations and their Kickstarters.
