What's already been done

In 2016-17 NUS worked with the Woodland Trust to represent young people's opinions on the furture of our woods and trees within the UK. Through this work we ensured that students views were heard in the creation of the Charter for Trees, Woods and People.

The Charter for Trees, Woods and People was launched in November 2017 at Lincoln Cathedral and after this NUS recieved funding from the Woodland Trust and the Heritage Lottery Fund to set up the Students for Trees project. The 3 year project is completly student led and seeks to change students' perceptions on woods and trees throughout the UK.
